Inclusive and National Education integrated in the publication

An educational-methodical handbook, Our Inclusive Riflemen’s Land, has been published, combining national-patriotic education with inclusive approaches. This handbook presents over 90 texts in Ukrainian and English that explore the historical period of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen and its connection with modernity.

The authorship is diverse, comprising students from Ivano-Frankivsk Vocational College across specialties such as Preschool Education, Elementary Education, and Software Engineering, along with students from Kalush Special School, parents, and educators. In addition to essays, the collection includes methodological recommendations on organizing research activities and writing literary and local history studies.

The editors aim at deepening understanding of the cultural, educational, and community engagement aspects of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen’s efforts toward statehood and to adapt elements of patriotic education for inclusive learning environments. This handbook will help future teachers and students appreciate the importance of historical heritage, fostering a sense of generational continuity.

This handbook serves as a valuable resource for teachers, students, and all who aim to incorporate patriotic education into modern teaching practices, especially within inclusive settings.
